“My go to bags for dog poop. Box will last almost 8 months! Great value and they are made well. My long nails don't break the bags either so they are made strong.”

A poop bag is not a complicated object. Which is exactly what makes it so annoying that most of them are bad.

Thin ones you can see straight through, which turns the walk to the bin into show and tell. Rolls where the sticker tears the first bag in half on its way off. Bags that are somehow smaller than the job. None of this is hard to fix. It just takes somebody willing to care about it far more than the situation strictly warrants.

Hello. I'm that somebody.

I made the film thicker, so it holds, and so what you're carrying stays between you and your dog. I made the bags bigger than the job, so there is enough left at the top to knot without thinking about it. Only 2/3 of the roll’s sealing sticker is glued down, so peeling it off doesn't take the first bag with it. Which sounds like nothing until it's your bag, your hand, your morning. If you've ever noticed the small stuff, these are for you.

None of that means anything if the factory has a bad week. So my dad goes and looks. He's retired, and when the bags are on the line he's on the floor next to it, pulling rolls off to check what actually came out. So far that has cost him about 10 working days, because that is how long one line takes to make every bag I've ever ordered. I'm working on ruining his retirement properly. Don't worry, I pay him.

Most of ours are scented, which is not an attempt to pretend the situation is something else. It's for the two seconds when you tie the knot. One of them isn't scented at all, for people who'd rather I didn't try.

They're 60% post-consumer recycled plastic, the stuff that's already been plastic once. Use them for a year and that's about 80 bottles that never had to be made from scratch. They don't compost, and I'm glad to explain why that's the better call.

I make one thing, for people who do an unglamorous job twice a day and never mention it. Nobody hands out a trophy for best dog mom or best dog dad. If they did, I'd know where to send it. I'd like these to be the best ones you can buy.

I read every review myself, and nothing tells me more about these bags. Compliments make my week. Complaints make the next box better. If you have bought a box, tell me what went wrong, or tell everyone what went right.
